Trying to build success and wealth from "the ground up" can prove to be a very difficult task in any part of the country, but when your desire is to "follow your dreams", and build that success in South Carolina, you are birthed into a "den of wolves" from the out start. From people who try to steal your dreams and belittle your efforts, to those who wish to exploit your talent for their benefit; without financial compensation to you for all of your "blood, sweat and tears."
When you find yourself faced with these difficult obstacles, you have to be able to draw strength and determination from a higher source in order to stay focused on the primary goal; which is not just to "become RICH", but to build that wealth as a product of the talent and dreams that you've dedicated your entire life too fulfilling. And to be a person of your word, to "walk the walk" if you will. I have met very few people with that kind of faith and warrior mentality, spiritual drive and soulful determination. So when one comes along, I have to do my part and let my readers know that I see a "star coming to birth in the universe."
Sue Ham is living out her motto of "Don't Quit, Follow Your Dreams", from Entertainer, to T.V. Talk Show and Radio host, to writing books, hosting hair shows, and now designing her own T- Shirt Line of which she extends the sentiments and positive uplifting phrases that she lives by, Sue Ham is definitely proving that she is not a quitter. I personally hope that she becomes that "millionaire" that she desires to be. And my hopes of her success stems from the fact that " all eyes are on her", some wish for her success, while others are hoping for her failure. I stand in the corner of "success" for Sue Ham, because the young people watching her journey will have something to aspire too. Her success will give faith and determination to those who carry the "heavy burden of independence in their soul.

COOPERATION OVER COMPETITION
There's a "Hunger" in the air.. And Everybody wants a piece of the "Recording Industry Pie", as they should...Music has made many a "Street Name" a "House Hold Name". However; as a former artist myself, I became deeply concerned over the past decade at just how "selfish" artist in South Carolina had become, and were becoming.
It's like I could see it through a crystal ball. Everybody was "moving" but "No One" was getting "Anywhere". The Drug Hustle was replacing "honest revenue" from record sales, so even though rappers in the south were driving "draped out" vehicles, very little of the money came from actually selling albums. They spent hours in the studio, then come to a show and throw the Cd's in the crowd as if though they didn't need the money. I'm thinking to myself.."so this is what southern hip hop is coming to"? It's all moving to fast. There's no real organization between the artist. Everyone wants the whole pie for themselves. Then I started thinking about my time in New York and how (Record Pools) kept dee jays on point, informed and in one community. So I tried to bring that concept to Manning...IT DIDN'T WORK...Now: I believe the timing is just right, and the enlightened artist and producers understand completely what must be done. The money is still there..and people will flock to hear "good music" and see live shows that have real depth and meaning. Not just a bunch of dudes with hoodies on: prancing around the stage like "caged animals"
I believe the timing is right. And I believe that Bru No will be one of the forces to usher in that NEW ORGANIZED southern hip/hop..R & B sound. IT'S OUR TIME!
IF WE BUILD IT, THEY WILL COME
